In recent years, Türkish machinery industry growth rates are much higher than growth rates of Türkiye’s overall economy and industry. With its rapid development and the potential it has, the Türkish Machinery industry is a sector increasing its share in the Turkish exports. Machinery is the second largest sector in Türkiye’s export.

In 2025, Türkiye’s machinery exports reached $ 28.7 billion. Machinery sector contributed more than 10 percent of Türkiye's total exports.

Over the last 24 years, machinery export has increased 15-fold. More than 200 countries around the world use Turkish machines. The percentage of Turkish machines exported to USA and EU countries is 60. Machines come first in products that Germany and USA import from Türkiye.

Türkiye is the sixth-largest machine manufacturer in Europe, ranked 28th in the global machinery foreign trade in 2024.

Turkish Machinery has been leading the manufacturing industry in compliance with the European Green Deal and International Sustainability Standards. Through the "Twin Transition Project in the Machinery Sector," conducted under the UR-GE (Development of International Competitiveness) Project with support from the Ministry of Commerce, Turkish Machinery helps members navigate both green and digital transition, fostering a strong culture of sustainability. Turkish Machinery has launched MundusPlus, a platform with the motto "World with a Plus," where you can access the latest sustainability news and regulatory updates (https://mundusplus.org.tr/En).
